A wise man once told me "No use burning daylight!". Well hasn't that been burnt into my psyche ever since. Back on the farm, you get up and get going. Work, work, more work, do, gather, shop, cook, clean, sleep, repeat. That's pretty much our daily routine. Then, we decided to travel most of the year and life obviously changed. Drastically . WOW! Just. Wow! It was the girls first long haul flight and we can now honestly say we have experienced the dark side of travelling with kids and come through the other side relatively unscathed. We can now see why not many parents attempt a long haul flight with kids. But there was light at the end of the tunnel.
